About Cloud Drive

Amazon Cloud Drive is your personal hard drive in the cloud, where you can store your photos, videos, documents, and more on Amazon’s secure servers.

Amazon offers two unlimited Cloud Drive storage plans to meet your data storage needs. For information about the available choices or to upgrade your plan, go to Change Your Cloud Drive Storage Plan or About Prime Photos.

Amazon Cloud Drive is supported on Internet Explorer version 9 or greater, as well as the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Upgrade to the latest version of your favorite browser to take advantage of the full features of Amazon Cloud Drive.

Your computer must also have JavaScript installed, and be configured to support Javascript.

Note: Music that was stored in your Music folder in Cloud Drive was moved to your Archived Music folder with the launch of your Amazon Music subscription. Music that you imported before the launch of your Amazon Music subscription doesn’t count against your Cloud Drive storage quota.

Note: To start using Cloud Drive, you’ll need to accept the Amazon Cloud Drive Terms of Use.

When you install the Cloud Drive Photos app for Android or iOS, you’ll be prompted to enter your Amazon account e-mail address and password. Once you’ve signed in, you can start saving and viewing photos and personal videos from Cloud Drive on your device as well.

Tip: If you’re accessing Cloud Drive files from your Fire Tablet, make sure your device is registered to the same Amazon account you typically use with Cloud Drive. For more information about registration, go to Fire & Kindle Support and select your device.

If your free trial or paid plan expires and you don’t have additional storage benefits, you’ll have 90 days to view and download your Cloud Drive contents and upgrade to one of the Cloud Drive Unlimited plans. You will be unable to upload new content or share existing uploads during this time. If you don’t subscribe to a paid plan after 90 days and don’t have any other free storage benefits, your Cloud Drive account will be deactivated and your content will be permanently deleted. For more information about storage limits, go to About Cloud Drive Storage Limits.

Note: To prevent Cloud Drive or Amazon Music access from a corporate network, you can block the DNS resolutions using * Blocking these DNS resolutions is not a supported API or security protocol. These specifications are subject to change at any time.
